Tesla Recalls Cybertruck for the Fourth Time

Tesla is recalling its Cybertruck for the fourth time in the US to address issues with loose trim pieces and front windshield wipers that can fail, Associated Press reports.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced the new recalls, affecting over 11,000 trucks each. The front windshield wiper motor controller is receiving too much electrical current, which could cause the wipers to stop working, increasing crash risk. Tesla will replace the wiper motor at no cost, notifying owners by letter on August 18.

Additionally, a trim piece on the truck bed, which may not have been properly installed with adhesive, can come loose and pose a hazard. Tesla will also rework or replace this trim piece, with notifications sent out on the same date.
