Jennifer Lopez has canceled her 2024 North American tour, citing a need to spend time with her children, family, and close friends, Associated Press reports.
The tour, her first in five years, was intended to support her first solo album in a decade, “This Is Me… Now,” along with its accompanying film. The tour was scheduled to begin in Orlando on June 26 and end in Houston on Aug. 31, with Live Nation confirming that Ticketmaster purchasers will receive automatic refunds. Lopez expressed her regret to fans through her website and newsletter, promising to make it up to them and expressing love for her supporters.
“This Is Me… Now” marks a significant return for Lopez, released two decades after her hit album “This Is Me… Then.” She sees it as a “miracle” and a “second chance” to capture a moment in time.
