6 People Stabbed to Death in Sydney Shopping Mall

A man stabbed six people to death and injured eight others, including a 9-month-old baby, at a shopping center in Syndey before being fatally shot by police, Associated Press reports.

The 40-year-old suspect began the attack at the Westfield Shopping Centre in Bondi Junction before a police inspector intervened and shot him as he raised a knife towards them. The victims included five women, a man, and the assailant, while the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.
