Twitch Streamer ‘Ninja’ Diagnosed with Skin Cancer

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, a popular Twitch streamer with 19 million followers, revealed his diagnosis of melanoma, a type of skin cancer, in a recent post on X, CNN reports.

The 32-year-old shared that his dermatologist identified melanoma after removing a mole from his foot during a routine checkup. Doctors are optimistic as they believe the cancer was caught early. Blevins emphasized the importance of routine skin checkups and urged others to get screened.

Melanoma, although rare, is a deadly form of skin cancer that can spread to other parts of the body. It disproportionately affects young adults and is associated with factors such as light skin color, UV exposure, and family history.
