Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence start-up xAI has introduced its first AI model called Grok, a chatbot closely integrated with the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), The Financial Times reports.
Grok has “real-time access” to information from X, giving it an advantage over other AI models that rely on older internet data archives. The company was able to release Grok’s capable model with just two months of training.
The chatbot is designed to have a sense of humor and “loves sarcasm,” with the ability to answer unconventional questions.
Grok will be available to subscribers of X’s Premium+ service, which costs around $16 per month, after a testing period.
