Intel Hit with $400 Million EU Antitrust Fine

Intel has been fined €376 million ($400 million) by the European Union (EU) in an antitrust case dating back nearly two decades, Reuters reports.

The fine pertains to anti-competitive practices by intel carried out between November 2002 and December 2006.

Where Intel reportedly paid HP, Acer, and Lenovo to halt or delay the delivery of rival products.

This fine follows a 2009 penalty of €1.06 billion, which was subsequently overturned last year.
