Poland Imposes EU Ban on All Russian-Registered Cars

Poland has implemented an EU ban on all Russian-registered passenger cars entering the country as part of broader EU sanctions against Russia, AP News reports.

Under this ban, vehicles registered in Russia are prohibited from entering the EU, regardless of the driver’s citizenship.

It comes shortly after Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia imposed similar bans on vehicles with Russian license plates.

Poland shares a land border with Russia’s exclave of Kaliningrad, as well as Ukraine and Belarus.
