Burger King Faces Lawsuit Over Size of Whopper

Burger King faces a lawsuit in the US accusing it of making its Whopper burger appear larger on menus than it is in reality, BBC reports.

The class action lawsuit claims that the Whopper was portrayed as 35% larger, with double the amount of meat compared to what was served.

Burger King had argued it was not obligated to deliver burgers that matched the image precisely.

The judge ruled that jurors should determine what “reasonable people think” and dismissed allegations of deceptive television and online advertising.
