Poland and Baltics States Urge Belarus to Expel Wagner Mercenaries

Poland and the Baltic states have called on Belarus to remove Wagner Group mercenaries from its territory, AP News reports.

The joint statement comes following a meeting in Warsaw by the interior ministers of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

In the event of a military incident or a migrant influx from Belarus, these countries plan to swiftly close all border crossings with Belarus.

They also demanded the repatriation of Middle Eastern and African migrants from border areas to their home countries.
