Amazon has now officially opened its second US headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, which will complement the previous headquarters in Seattle.
The “HQ2” project was announced in 2018 before the pandemic disrupted office culture and would bring 25,000 jobs to Northern Virginia.
In February, Amazon called for its workers to return to the office at least three days a week. 30,000 workers then signed a petition for the company to reconsider.
