On Sunday, Finnish Prime Minister and Social Democrats (SDP) leader Sanna Marin conceded defeat in the Finnish election, reports Reuters.
The National Coalition Party (NCP) emerged as the largest party with 20.8% of the vote, followed by the Finns Party’s 20.1% and SDP’s 19.9% of the vote, reports BBC.
NCP leader Petteri Orpo has claimed victory and announced that he intends to start forming a coalition to obtain majority in the parliament.
