On Monday, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy told staff in a memo that the company will lay off 9,000 more employees in the coming weeks, reports CNBC.
The layoffs will affect Amazon’s cloud computing, advertising, human resources and Twitch livestreaming units.
Amazon previously cut more than 18,000 workers in earlier rounds of layoffs between November and January.
