Slovakia to Send 13 Fighter Jets to Ukraine

On Friday, Slovakia approved plans to send its fleet of 13 MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, reports AP News.

Slovakia’s Defense Minister Jaroslav Nad said the country will receive €200 million in compensation from the EU and unspecified arms worth €700 million from the US.

Slovakia becomes the second country to send warplanes to Ukraine after Poland announced it would send four of its planes on Thursday.
