NASA Unveils New Spacesuits for Their Astronauts

On Wednesday, NASA unveiled a prototype of its new spacesuits made by Axiom Space for the Artemis program, in a live press release.

The actual spacesuits worn by astronauts will be white “to reflect heat and protect astronauts from extreme high temperatures,” reports CNN.

The suit will be worn by astronauts in the Artemis III project, which is planned to put the first woman and the first non-white person on the moon in 2025.
