Amazon is closing down eight of its cashierless Go stores in the US due to slowing sales growth, reports Engadget.
It affects four stores in San Francisco, two in New York and two in Seattle.
However, Amazon still has over 20 operational cashierless stores and said it remains committed to the Amazon Go format.
