Finnish PM Sanna Marin Defends Private Life after Party Video Leaked

The Finnish Prime Minister, Sanna Marin, has attracted attention after being seen dancing and singing with friends and celebrities in a leaked video.
"I danced, sang, and partied - perfectly legal things. And I've never been in a situation where I've seen or known of others [using drugs]."

- Sanna Marin, Prime Minister of Finland
Opposition parties have criticized her behavior, and one leader has called on her to take a voluntary drug test.

Ms. Marin, 36, denied all accusations of taking drugs, but is open to the suggestion, telling reporters that she had "no problem taking tests."
"I have a family life, I have a work life and I have free time to spend with my friends. Pretty much the same as many people my age."

- Sanna Marin, Prime Minister of Finland
Last year, Ms. Marin apologized for going clubbing after it was revealed she had been in close contact with a Covid-19 case.
