Russia Unveils Plans for Space Station to Rival the ISS

Roscosmos, Russia's space agency, has unveiled plans for a new space station, as it considers withdrawing from the International Space Station (ISS).
At the Army-2022 forum, a model of a Russian orbital station was unveiled, which include research modules, a service platform, and a docked prospective Oryol spacecraft.

Although Russia's ambitions have been made public, it is still unclear whether or not it will materialize.
In July, the director general of Roscosmos, Yuri Borisov announced that Russia was withdrawing from the ISS after 2024 and plan to build its own station.

Despite occasional conflicts, Russia and the US have collaborated on the ISS since the 1990s.
