Nick Kyrgios Ends Three-Year Title Drought with Citi Open Victory

On Sunday, Nick Kyrgios won the Citi Open final in Washington, ending a three-year title drought.
The Australian defeated the Japanese player Yoshihito Nishioka 6-4, 6-3. His previous win three years ago came at the same tournament.

The 27-year-old then went on to win the doubles title alongside American Jack Sock to defeat Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek 7-5, 6-4.
Kyrgios climbs from 63rd to 37th in the ATP rankings with his seventh career title.
