Switzerland Fully Legalizes Medical Cannabis and Allows Export

On August 1, Switzerland will join other European nations that have legalized cannabis for medical purposes, that patients can get through a prescription.
Switzerland is looking to establish proper regulation by legalizing medical cannabis to protect public health and fight the illegal market.

Only cannabis products containing high levels of CBD with less than 1% THC will be allowed, cannabis for recreational purposes will still illegal.
In recent years, CBD has gained popularity in Switzerland as it is not subject to the Narcotics Act since it has no psychoactive effects.
