Microsoft Will No Longer Ban Employees From Seeking Jobs at Competitors

Microsoft will no longer enforce non-compete clauses (NCCs) against the majority of its staff, employees are now free to apply for jobs at firms like Amazon and Google.

NCCs are used by businesses to prevent employees from working for companies considered to be direct competitors.
Starting today, the firm will remove clauses from employee contracts and will not enforce existing clauses in the US.

They will still be enforced against the company's most senior leaders.
